Taipei, Taiwan, Jan 12, 2006 -- Delta Electronics, Inc., a world leader in power systems technologies and manufacturing, has introduced the latest addition to their Delphi Series of Board Mounted DC/DC Power Converters, the E48SH high powered, eighth brick converter.

 

The E48SH, 48V input, single output, isolated, DC/DC converter, delivers up to 50A of output current or 120W of power in an Industry Standard footprint and pin out. With optimized component placement, creative design topologies and patented technologies from Delta's World Wide Engineering teams, the E48SH converter delivers not only outstanding electrical and thermal performance, but has industry leading efficiencies which translate into more board space at less cost for our customer's space constrained and cost-sensitive applications.

 

The Delphi E48SH converter operates from an input voltage of 36V to 75V and is available in output voltages from 1.0V to 15V. Typical efficiency for this module with a 12V/10A output is 93.5%.

 

This converter comes complete with a host of industry-standard features to insure that it will reliably perform in the harshest environments and all modules are fully protected against abnormal input/output voltage, current, and temperature conditions.

 

Sample quantities of Delta's Delphi E48SH converters are now available. In OEM quantities of 1000 pieces, the unit price is US$41. Standard lead-time for this product is from stock to 8 weeks, depending on the output and volume.
